To my Father

To my loving father,
Thank you so very much for being the loving, kind, gentle, leading, dear friend and father that you have been to me! I could not have or even want a better Daddy than you! I thank Yahweh continually for blessing me with the father that He did, for He knew exactly what I would need in a father and you are it!
You know Dad; there aren’t many fathers that would go without, just so that their child could have something. And there aren’t many Dad’s who would work like you do, never complaining, always smiling and encouraging us on in what we are doing…just to make it a little easier for us.
Dad, you are so dear to me and I want you and the world to know it! You are a Dad who truly cares about each of his children. You could always be off doing your own thing, but instead you are always right there with us, playing with us, laughing with us, teaching us, training and leading us. If there is work to do, we all do it together and these times have meant so much to us! Aw, the memories we all have!! I loved growing up in this family and although I look forward to one day starting my own family Dad, I don’t look forward to the day I will have to say good bye to being right underneath your leadership and house. I will miss that terribly, Dad! I will miss YOU terribly Dad!
But most of all Dad there aren’t many girls who could say that their Dad loves His Saviour with every ounce in Him, but Dad, that is you! I can still remember those days when you worked outside of the house and I would wake early and would go down stairs, and where would I find you, but on your recliner, Bible in hand, either reading or praying before you headed off to work. That only showed me just how much you’re Saviour meant to you. And then there were times that God would show you something we weren’t doing yet or maybe just correctly, and on a dime, just like that, you would change to follow Yahweh’s leading in your life, and that Dad, has meant the world to me! It didn’t matter if the world was against us, we were going to stand for what we believed and we were going to give our Saviour our all. Dad, seeing and watching your example of how we are to love, worship and adore our Lord and Saviour has been something that has been awesome to watch and take apart in!
Dad, you’re the best! I love you SO very much!!! I can’t thank you enough for being the kind of father that you are to us and I praise God for you!! My prayer is that God would one day bless me with a young man just like you, Dad…someone that loves God with all of his heart, soul, strength and mind!
