Virtuous Daughters

 Psalms 119:11 “Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.”

Psalms 1:2 “But his (our) delight is in the law of Yahweh; and in his law doth he (we) meditate day and night.” - Emphasis added.

Do we hide God’s Word in our hearts? Do we meditate on it day and night?

Dear Sisters,

  We can see things going down hill in this world. The ungodly are trying their hardest to take everything that has to do with God and our Saviour out of the world.  They do NOT want us to serve Him and already they are making it so that we can not openly talk and proclaim about what God is doing in our lives.  They are already working at trying to take the most precious book away from us…our Bibles.  And in many, many countries you are no longer allowed to have one.

   Sisters, what are you going to have to stand on, if YOU’RE Bible is taken from YOU? Will you have already hid His word deep within your hearts, so even if they take the written word of God away from you, they can’t take what has already been written on your hearts? Will you still be able to still teach your children the Word of God because it is written on your hearts and you know it by heart?

   I know I have really failed in this area of my life. Memorization does not come easy for me.  It is hard work and all too often I have pushed it aside.  But you know what? I am no longer going to push this most important thing off anymore! I need to hide His word in my heart and that means I need to memorize it day and night!!

   What about you? Will you wait until it is too late to start hiding His word in your heart? Why continue to push it off? Why not start today?
